Opsci.ai's team will be in Riga from Monday 7 to Friday 11 October, for three events:

  • The fourth edition of the NATO Strategic Communications Centre of Excellence Community of Interest Workshop for the project Russian Information Operations Outside of the Western Information Environment. This workshop will provide an opportunity to continue discussions, share ideas, and strengthen the connections within our Community. Drawing on a set of case studies, the project aims to provide an assessment of hostile information operations outside of the Western information environment.

  • The"Emerging Trends in Social Media" NATO rendez-vous, bringing together leading experts, researchers and professionals from various fields including academia, government, military and industry to discuss the social media landscape of today. AI is not surprisingly a big theme this year: the impact of AI-generated material, such as deep-fakes and AI-influencers, on the content we view on social media; how the technology can be used for the purposes of improving our strategic communications; what tools to use as well as potential limitations and risks with using AI in these communications.

  • The #Disinfo2024 conference, diving into the pressing issues of disinformation such as the impact of Foreign Information Manipulation and Interference on elections, the new paradigms of generative AI, cybersecurity, and the role of communities and partnerships; exploring global perspectives and the conflicts in Ukraine and the Middle East.

Teams from Rīga Stradiņš University, Re:Baltica and Les Surligneurs will also be there. Reach out tu us!
