Rīga Stradiņš University is an internationally recognized scientific institution and the third largest university in Latvia by number of students. Currently it is one of the two main centers of social sciences and humanities in Latvia offering studies in BA, MA and PhD programmes. RSU conducts significant studies in various fields of social, humanities, and legal sciences. It has developed particular expertise in communication, media, discourse, and narrative studies, especially concerning the Latvian language. In collaboration with the Institute of Mathematics and Computer Science of the University of Latvia, RSU social scientists have developed and maintain several artificial intelligence-based research tools - the Parliament Debates Corpus, the corpus of Twitter accounts of Latvian politicians and the Index of Internet Aggressiveness.
Vineta Kleinberga is a researcher and a PhD candidate at Faculty of Social Sciences at Rīga Stradiņš University, leading the "Intersections: Politics, Narratives, Perceptions" research group. Her work focuses on the interplay between policy formation, strategic communication, and societal perceptions, with recent studies on climate, energy policies and narratives, COVID-19 strategic communication and information suppression by authoritarian regimes.

Anda Rožukalne is a professor and senior researcher at Rīga Stradiņš University Faculty of Social Sciences, specializing in media sociology. Her expertise spans journalism, media and communication effects, media literacy, media regulation and media audience studies, with a focus on building AI-aided research tools, including the Index of Internet Aggressiveness. She represents Latvia in the EC Media Pluralism Monitor, Euromedia Ownership Monitor and in the global Worlds of Journalism Study. Anda Rožukalne is one of the founders of Association of Latvian Journalists, member of Latvian Media Ethics Council, and member of Academia Europaea.

Miervaldis Karulis is a lecturer at Rīga Stradiņš University, teaching medical English and Latin. His research focuses on educational management and the sociology of education, digitalization in education, and information processing and analysis in the social sciences.
